Grace Wright graduated from Elam School of fine arts in 2014. She has since held multiple solo and group exhibitions throughout New Zealand. She has been a finalist in Waikato Society of Arts NZ Painting and Printmaking Award (2015 and 2016) and was also a finalist in Arts Whakatane Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Award 2015.
2016 saw her featured at the Asia Contemporary Art Show in Hong Kong, the Auckland Art Fair alongside receiving the Honorary Speaker Prize at MAKEit MADEit Conference in NSW, Australia. This year she is the inaugural recipient of the artist-in-residency programme at Parlour Projects where she created a large-scale installation on the gallery’s main viewing wall measuring 11×6 metres.
